  • Past meets the present with dire consequences for all humanity in The Last Witch Hunter. Expect lead actor Vin Diesel to begin a New successful film series if entry #1 is any indication. Sitting pretty is EOne Entertainment for unleashing this ghoulish delight at Cineplex Odeon haunted halls across sedate British Columbia.

Religion mixes with the occult as a storm is brewing. Passed down over generations is saintly redeemer Kaulder, a man out to neuter living witches in New York. just when you thought the streets of Manhattan were safe all sorts of black magic creates havoc . It’s hard to tell the good guys from the bad as our human protector seems to have met his match in an evil overlord whose thirst for power seems unstoppable.

First class special effects and an ominous atmosphere set the right stage for battles galore as Vin flexes his muscles and joins the battle. Along for the ride is Michael Caine as a man of the cloth and Elijah Wood as an other religious disciple in way over his head. Smart action and a likeable Vin Diesel and hissing witches make The Last Witch Hunter a classy thriller sure to win over action fans before Mr. Bond arrives
