In a “Buzz ng Bayan” and “Kris TV” interview with Boy Abunda, the female television host shared she and Vice had a short “tampuhan” over the rivalry of their two films, “My Little Bossings,” featuring her son Bimby, and Vice’s “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy.”

“Let’s be honest, siyempre may effect sa amin,” Kris said. She disclosed that Vice texted her on Christmas Eve, the day before the opening of the festival, but she decided not to immediately return the message.

“The night before mag-showing, he texted me. He said ‘whatever happens, know that I love you ha.’ Hindi ko pa siya sinagot  nun kasi na-affect naman ako sa paulit-ulit niyang sinabi na ‘Kris, tatalunin ka namin,” Kris said. Vice said in jest that he told Kris his movie will top the MMFF box-office.

“Sinasabi ko sa kaniya na ‘Congrats number 2 ka ha.’ Ang reaksyon niya? ‘I hate you, I hate you. Tie na lang tayo.’ Sabi ko  ‘imposible, walang tie diyan no,’” she said. But the comedian was fast in clarifying that there’s no rivalry between them and they offer different things to the viewing public. Vice Ganda said, “Wala talagang kompetisyon, walang ganun sa amin.”
