  • imortalAngel Locsin said that she and John Lloyd Cruz are well prepared for their coming fight scenes as vampire and lobo in the highly rated series, “Imortal,” aired daily on ABS-CBN. The two of them, she revealed, underwent rigid basic training, specifically in martial arts. “Talagang dusa,” she revealed, “since our instructors appear not to care if they or JL (John Lloyd’s pet name) and I hit each other.
“At heto pa, they will not allow us to leave hanggang hindi satisfied ang sino man sa director namin assigned who supervise our training.”
“Imortal” has three directors: Chito Roño, Trina Dayrit and Jerry Lopez Seneneng. The current episodes show that JL has no idea yet that he is a vampire while Angel, as Lia, knows she is a lobo.

“Kasi, ‘Imortal,’ is supposedly a sequel to my first fantasy series with ABS-CBN, ‘Lobo.’ As viewers of the original ‘Lobo’ know, I’m an aspiring fashion designer na alam na she is queen of a mythical clan of lobo. Pero mababawi ang trono and this will be revealed in future episodes of ‘Imortal.’

“When she died, as her daughter, I vow to redeem her,” Angel stated. “I will have to fight with vampires, to where JL belongs.”
“Imortal” is a blend of fantasy, horror, action and drama. And obviously, said Des Tantiango, the series’ executive producer, this is what keep the viewers glued every time it is aired.
