  • TV host Luis Manzano confirmed that his girlfriend, Angel Locsin, will do a drama movie with his mother, Batangas governor and veteran actress Vilma Santos. In an interview on Wednesday, Manzano said Locsin already got a copy of her script.

“Actually ‘yung precise details, hindi ko pa alam. Pero alam ko na kay Angel na ‘yung script. Dinaanan na niya ‘yung script one time. Nandoon ako pero siyempre, script niya ‘yon, ayaw kong pakialaman ‘yon,” Manzano said.

“Base sa narinig kong kwento mula sa kanya eh napakasarap panoorin, drama under Star Cinema. I think inaayos pa nila kung sino ang lalaki. I think nakausap nila yata –I could be wrong — I think they spoke to Coco Martin. Si Jericho Rosales nakausap din nila, si Xian Lim yata nakausap din sila. So yon,” he said.

When asked who will direct the movie of his girlfriend and mother, Manzano said: “I think si direk Olivia Lamasan. I could honestly be wrong.”

The actor said he is also not sure about the movie’s opening date.

“Dapat kasi nag-grind na sila ngayon. Based on their initial timetable, I think dapat December yata. They are supposed to start already so I guess hindi lang nasusunod yung timetable nila,” he said.

In a previous interview, Locsin said she dreams of doing a project with Santos. (abs-cbn)
