  • Richard Gutierrez did not deny that he’s “frustrated” about the shifts timeslot of his TV5 show “Ang Panday.”

“To be honest I was frustrated with the timeslot that was given to ‘Panday,’” he confessed at the “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” news conference on Monday. “Ang usapan namin magkakaro’n ng fixed timeslot, but as soon as we started airing (in February), our timeslot kept on moving.”

“Ako mismo as Panday hindi ko alam kung ipapalabas ba kami ngayong gabi, anong oras. So medyo frustrating for me ang set up na ‘yon,” he added.

Despite his frustration, Richard wouldn’t want to focus on that and instead just focus on giving his best on the show.

“I try to just focus on my work,” he said. “Tina-try namin ni direk [Mac Alejandre] na talagang pagandahin ang show despite ‘yong mga nagiging problema na hindi namin kayang kontrolin.”

Richard said a factor affecting the show’s airing is the falling out of TV5 and Viva Entertainment due to management disagreements following an attempted partnership on shows.

“I was excited about that until it turned out to be in short terms,” he said.

Despite all what Kapatid network is going through, Richard still hopes that TV5 will soon figure out a fixed timeslot for his show.

Besides working on “Ang Panday,” Richard will soon discuss his upcoming film with Viva. The fourth season of “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” will also start airing on July 25 on E!. (J. Jimenez, PS)
