Ynang Reyna is the queen and mother of the four main characters or the “sang’gres”.

Encantadia’s story revolves around the four “sang’gres” or princesses who are tasked of guarding four elemental gems to maintain the balance in the kingdom.

The show starred Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Karylle and Diana Zubiri.

“Encantadia” is a story about four sisters portrayed by Pirena (Dizon), Amihan (Calzado), Alena (Karylle) and Danaya (Zubiri). They are guarding four gems which represent fire, air, water and land; maintaining the balance in the land of Encantadia.

A photo which has made rounds on social networking sites allegedly showed the four actresses who might play the roles of the four “sang’gres”. They are Kylie Padilla, Glaiza De Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez.

The  ”Encantadia” 2016 remake is set to air later this year.
