  • lot can happen in one year.

In the case of Heart Evangelista, who just turned 31 last Sunday, Feb. 14, since tying the knot with a politician, Sen. Chiz Escudero, the once-shy actress has learned to spread her wings.

At the opening of her fourth solo exhibit, “Oceans Apart,” she was the picture of contentment, happy with what is happening in her private life and career and totally enamored with her new role as Mrs.
    Escudero.

She admits that she and her hubby both keep a killer schedule, but she is not complaining. She sees it as a good sign that they are both growing as individuals; he in his political career and she in the visual
    and entertainment field.

A year after her wedding, she considers saying yes to him as the best decision of her life. In her Instagram account, she posted their prenup photos and Balesin wedding shots, expressing her gratitude to her
    “babe.”

“You are the light of my life, my mentor, my inspiration the only one who made me feel so much love.  I am who I am today all because of you… I can’t thank God enough for giving you to me… I am blessed
with having you in my life,” she wrote.

“Thank you, babe, for loving me, for teaching me to spread my wings… To many more beautiful years together, my darling. Cheers to today and forever… Happy anniversary.”

Last weekend, Heart enjoyed a warm welcome in Sorsogon where she chose to mark Valentine’s Day, her 31st and their first wedding anniversary. While preparing for her new primetime soap on GMA, she

plans to come up with new designs for her fashion collaboration with Mark Bumgarner, launch her Carry Your HeART clutch line and promises to do her part in helping her husband in his vice presidential campaign. (Malaya)
