Bong says showbiz remains his first love

  • Despite his bid to return to politics, former action hero Bong Revilla maintained he won’t be turning his back on showbiz.

“Showbiz is my first love. Bread and butter ko ang pelikula at telebisyon. Ito ang bumubuhay ng pamilya ko. Tuloy-tuloy ang paggawa ko ng pelikula, tuloy ang paglabas ko sa telebisyon,” he said.

The former senator, speaking in from of members of the entertainment press yesterday, also addressed the motion filed by ombudsman prosecutors on his alleged civil liability despite the acquittal from plunder that he got from the Sandiganbayan in December.

Not guilty nga. Dahil wala akong kasalanan,” he maintained.

Revilla also said there is something “questionable” about the ombudsman’s statement that he needs to pay P124.5 million to the government.

“Sino ba ‘yung gumawa nyan [allegation]? Pero tayo po’y not guilty ang sintensya, so wala po tayong kasalanan,” he said.

‘Yun po ‘yung pilit nilang ginagawa,” he added.

Revilla admitted he remains traumatized after being detained for more than four years and called on his opponents to quit the spreading of lies.

“Four years and six months, hindi biro.
