  • beautiful-christmasTheir Christmas celebration is as beautiful as all the people they have made beautiful. In the Antonio household, founders and owners of Salon de Manila and hairdressers to the stars, Christmas is always beautiful. Not because of elaborate Christmas décor, bright lights, and wonderful gifts, but because the whole family is always together.

“We have no plans yet for this Christmas, but as long as we’re together, for me, kahit sa bahay fang okay na,” says the 28-year-old Adlai Antonio, the firstborn son of no less than the “Queen of Style” Pin Antonio, owner and creative director of the renowned Salon de Manila. The 23-year-old Adlai has made a name for himself in the hairstyling indus  try. Adlai was chosen last month to represent the country in the “Best of Asia by World Tour” conducted by a world famous brand in hairstyling held in Macau.

The Antonios will not change the celebration this year, but they will include people affected by the tragedies by blessing them so that they will receive grace from Jesus Christ. The family also silently donated and reached out to the victims and survivors.

Adlai is definitely looking forward to the traditional opening of gifts at 12 midnight of Christmas Eve. He admits that he really waits every year for his mom’s gift as it always comes as a pleasant surprise.

“I have a lot of favorite gifts from mom. It’s as if she knows exactly what I want or need. She always gives creative and wonderful gifts for the whole family,” ends Adlai.
