  • Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is getting ready for another milestone as she will celebrate her 50th birth anniversary on Feb. 14.

On Instagram Feb. 2, Aquino said that she won’t be having a grand party when she turns 50.

“Obviously, I won’t be having a party. On my birthday, ako ang magreregalo sa inyo (I will give presents to all of you),” said Kris when she went live on Instagram Tuesday night.

Aquino said that she and her team will choose 50 followers on her social media accounts who will win P5,000.00 cash each.

Twenty-five lucky winners will be chosen from her followers on Facebook while 25 others will come from Instagram.

“No more questions to be asked. All you have to do is use the hashtag #happybirthdaykris. That’s it! And then random ang pag-select namin ng winners,” she said.

Aquino wanted to give the cash presents on her actual birthday but she decided to give it on Feb. 13. “It’s up to if you want the money to use for Shopee or we can send it through bank transfer for you needs.”

The actress-endorser said she has so many things to be thankful for as she approaches 50 such as her son Bimby earning first honors, her other son Josh is enjoying life in Tarlac, and she’s still alive.

On Instagram Feb. 2, Kris proudly showed the medal and the seven certificates earned by her son that were delivered to her home.

Bimby, 13, received certificates for being First Honors, Excellence in Music and the Arts, Excellence in Values Education, Excellence in Computer, Courage Award, Excellence in Livelihood Education and Excellence in Physical Education.

She explained the significance of being 50, saying her father the late Benigno Aquino Jr. passed away at that age.

Her father Benigno was assassinated at the Manila International Airport on Aug. 21, 1983.
Bimby, who sat next to her mom during Instagram Live, told Kris she doesn’t look her age. “You look 25!” (R. Requintana, mb.com.ph)
