  • The Vancouver BC Coalition for Leni and Kiko’s next project is a fundraiser, a Bowling for Leni and Kiko slated on Sunday, December 19, at the Revs, Bowling Centre in Burnaby, BC. Everyone is invited to bowl, dine and meet old and new friends at the Bowling Centre.

In January, as the 100 days before the 2022 Philippine elections loom, the Coalition is planning a major event featuring a stationary Caravan for Leni and Kiko, an ecumenical mass service and dinner with entertainment. The Events Committee is currently finalizing details and will announce the plan details soon.

We are all supporting the boodle box fundraiser For Leni and Kiko of BC residents Tony and Marissa Pena. Marissa is from Bicol herself. Tony and Marissa presented their program to the Coalition. They will donate all money raised to help elect Leni and Kiko. We will announce the details soon.

Rene Hipolito, a native of Pampanga and a local entrepreneur and Robert Afan, a mortgage brokerage company CEO recently joined the movement and the Coalition to help VP Leni and Senator Kiko get elected as President and Vice President, respectively. We are encouraging like- minded people to join us in our crusade to right the wrong and install the good people as leaders in the Philippines.

Sometime in January and February 2022, we are sponsoring a Kapihan (roundtable of discussions). We will invite the movers and shakers of Vancouver including the youth sector. The youth voters will make a huge impact on the results of the May 2022 elections. We are also targeting all market segments of the potential voters in Vancouver, targeting the CD market and not just the AB market.

Co-Chairperson Malou Capucao emphasized, “that all fundraising efforts will be properly recorded and accounted for from our Coalition end.” She continued, “we cannot answer for another or other groups doing fund raising but our Coalition will be above board.”

The Vancouver BC for Leni and Kiko officials are Chairperson Amado N. Mercado Jr, Co-Chairperson Malou Capucao, Myla Bagasbas Marrinier, Finance Bert Parungao, Mike Calingo, Events, Maria, Lorry, EV, and Rene. Press Release Media Tom Choy. Promotions , Mike Calingo, Gary Manansala, Madz Mercado III.
