The media is invited to attend the opening of the new Newton Seniors Centre Outdoor Fitness Equipment Space.
Date: Thursday June 9, 2016
Time: 11:00 am to 12noon
Ceremony: 11:00 am (remarks provided by Councillor Barbara Steele)
Location: Newton Seniors Centre – north side outdoors (see attached map)
The Newton Seniors’ Outdoor Space has been designed to be accessible and inclusive to seniors and the whole community. The space contains new outdoor equipment, a patio area, new plantings and planters, mural artwork and a walking track.
Light refreshments will be provided.
