Guildford Cagers win inaugural Batang Pinoy Basketball League-Marlon Parel Cup

    The Guildford Cagers fought back from a 10-point deficit to steal the game from the Primeline Autobody, 67-66, to become the First Season Batang Pinoy Basketball League Champion.

     

    Ryan Cabico is the Batang Pinoy Basketball League, Marlon Parel Cup Finals MVP.

     

    Ryan Cabico led his team with 27 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 steals with the help of his veteran teammate, Xtian Ferrer with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

     

    Batang Pinoy Basketball League was organized with a vision to create camaraderie between 16 Filipino Basketball Teams around Lower Mainland.

     

    The league looks forward to having a positive impact on the lives of young athletes, their families, and the community.

     

    The event coordinators are Harold Abejo, Harry Acuna, Ace Bangalan, and Adrian Paddit.

     

    Realtor Marlon Parel is the Major Sponsor for Awards and Trophies.
