City invites residents to give input on logo Survey available until May 25

  • As part of the process to refresh the City of Vancouver’s logo, being led by the BC Chapter of the Graphic Designers of Canada, the City is asking residents for input that will feed into the design process.

A survey is online at talkvancouver.com  from today until May 25 and residents are being asked to share their views on what makes Vancouver unique.

The results will be compiled into a report to inform a creative brief that will be part of a Call for Design to the local graphic design community, to be issued in early June by the Graphic Designers of Canada.

The association, led by BC Chapter President Johnathon Strebly, will also be responsible for reviewing all the submissions and selecting three finalist designs; later this summer the public will be able to vote to choose the City’s new logo.

The survey is open to all residents of Vancouver; those who are not already members of the Talk Vancouver panel can sign up to participate.

Talk Vancouver members are asked to share their opinions on a wide range of City consultations throughout the year – many of which involve complex issues – and feedback on projects through Talk Vancouver has been a valuable tool for the City.
