TFC brings back celebrity game show “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” to the U.S. and Canada

  • Kapamilya Deal or No Deal host Luis Manzano is excited over the fact that Filipinos in the U.S. and Canadatfc can continue to watch the game show, which enjoys a wide following in the Philippines. “Your favorite game show and the team that comes with it, will be back this November in North America. Join me, the celebrity contestants, the lucky stars and the mysterious banker as we return for some nerve-wracking fun,” invites Manzano.

    ABS-CBN Global Head of Content Ned Legaspi says that the show is popular within and outside of the Philippines because of the witty antics and banter between the host and celebrity contestants along with the ‘lucky stars’. “Manzano is a very versatile and relatable host. Together with the different personalities of the ‘lucky stars,’ he brings enthusiasm and joy to the game – the reason why it is well-loved by Filipinos around the world.” Legaspi adds,

    “The airing of Deal or No Deal is a response to the clamor of our Kapamilyas in  the region who also want to enjoy watching the Philippine franchise of the show.”

    Jun del Rosario, AVP for Global Content Distribution of ABS-CBN International affirms this. “There is a constant demand for programming content that uniquely satisfies the global Filipino’s entertainment needs and so we warmly welcome back Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal, a surefire hit, to TFC,” says del Rosario.

    Witness the return of the ‘lucky stars’ as they help determine the fate of celebrity contestants on Kapamilya Deal or No Deal beginning this Monday, November 23 in the U.S. and Canada on TFC. Viewers can also catch the exciting and fun episodes of the game show via TFC’s official online service, TFC.tv right after its Philippine airing or via its video-on-demand or VOD (Internet Protocol television or IPTV) service.
