  • OyohappywithKristineYou won’t believe it, but top actor and television host Vic Sotto is loveless. The comedian was serious when he confided that despite some girls being linked to him, he is still loveless. He made his point as he denied that newcomer Gwen Zamora, his leading lady in his movie with Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote,” is his current squeeze. Vic also stressed that on Valentine’s Day, he was with fellow comedians Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola. It was earlier rumored that Gwen was the reason for Vic’s splitting with television host Pia Guanio, his girlfriend for seven long years.

While Vic maintains that he is without a girlfriend now, Pia has obviously found new love in the arms of someone who is not connected with showbiz. Vic admitted that despite he and Pia heading to Splitsville, they have remained civil to each other and are working together as co-hosts of the top-rating noontime program, “Eat Bulaga.” Meanwhile, Vic’s son by actress Dina Bonnevie, Oyo Sotto, is happy with his marriage with beautiful actress Kristine Hermosa. Oyo admitted that he has not prevented his wife from accepting projects in showbiz. He also denied reports that he will limit his wife’s projects in showbusiness. Recently the two were spotted together in a special event with Oyo’s mother, Dina Bonnevie. vic-sotto (1)“Hindi ko naman siya pinagbabawalan kasi she knows her limitations naman eh, alam niya kung hanggang saan lang. If she wants to work okay sa akin yun basta yung schedule eh hindi masyadong busy,” Oyo said. Oyo also pointed out that Kristine is already part of the entertainment industry even before they met and it is her passion to act in front of the camera.

Kristine said that she will accept television projects as long as her family life would not be compromised. “Depende yung kung okay din sila dun sa mga si-net namin na limitations ni Oyo kasi medyo gusto din naman namin na mag focus sa pamilya,” she said. The actress added that she is still resting and enjoying her honeymoon with her husband. Oyo and Kristine were married in private ceremony in Batangas last January 12. They shunned media coverage of their wedding because they wanted to keep the wedding very private.
