“I acted like it wasn’t a big deal, when really it was breaking my heart.”

“I can’t say, kasi hindi pa siya tapos.

    “My mom always has me.
“I was listening to the first, first song I ever wrote.
“It says na parang, ‘We don’t have a perfect life, but I know you’ll always be there for me when my world falls and vice versa.’
“So I was listening to that, I played it on my Spotify kanina. Sabi ko, ‘Aba, nagpaparamdam.’

“’Coz she’s my first love talaga and siya talaga yung naging first inspiration ko for a song, so I guess it comes back to that whatever happens.”

Dugtong ni Karylle tungkol sa isyu, “Nothing is final, so I can’t really say anything right now.
She’s okay.
“She just came from Cebu, she did, like, a short crash course on farming.
“But she’s been into that for the whole of last year, so I can’t say naman na she’s doing that now.”
Balak daw nila itong gawing farm.
“It’s something she’s really been planning and it’s their happy place…” sabi ni Karylle.

    CHRISTMAS SINGLE
“What I love about him, the whole artistry. He’s very young, he’s making his own music, clear, very honest.
“I just love the honesty and the confidence that he brings forth.
“It’s very fresh for me, especially to work with somebody so young,” sabi ni Karylle tungkol sa 27-year-old Indonesian singer.
Dagdag ni Karylle, “I really like learning about people also from other culture.

“There is a lot to learn. There is so much to learn not just musically but about them.”

Aniya, “I really enjoyed Karylle’s kind of music.
“But the first time I listened to ‘It’s Christmas Time,’ you can feel the rawness of Karylle, like, she’s trying to deliver the message [of the song].
“I can relate to that kind of music ‘coz I really like jazz.
“In Indonesia, my songs are more into pop jazz, so I can really relate to ‘It’s Christmas Time,’ and I prefer Karylle singing it.”
