Ace comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas ad­mitted that she is mulling over whether to enter the world of politics, ABS-CB re­ported. But if her plan pushes through, she might run in the 2013 midterm polls, and not in 2010 elections. “…isa iyan sa plano ni ama (talent manager Boy Abunda) sa akin pero nag-iisip pa po ako kasi hindi naman ako marunong,” delas Alas said. “… hindi po (agad presidente), mga ba­rangay kagawad muna, tapos captain,dadaan po ako sa proseso.” If she wins, delas Alas said she will focus on instilling discipline and addressing poverty. “Ang hilig hilig natin kapag wala na tayong makain ay gobyerno ang sinisisi natin. Hindi natin tinitingnan ang sarili natin na baka, ‘hindi kami nag-ta-trabaho’; baka ‘ay, alas siyete pa lang umiinom na ako. Paano kami magkakaroon ng pera?’ So poverty and disiplina ng kap­wa Filipino,” the actress said.
