Now on its 6th year, British Columbia’s biggest and most- awaited Filipino cultural event, Pinoy Fiesta Vancouver 2015: “ Unang Hirit sa Tag-init” will get even hotter with Kapuso star Solenn Heussaff taking the stage on August 9. As it celebrates 10 years of bringing Filipinos abroad closer to home this 2015, GMA International is proud to be the exclusive Philippine media partner of Pinoy Fiesta Vancouver 2015, organized by the Philippine Canadian Cultural Society.
The Fiesta, which celebrates the rich history and traditions of the Filipino people,will be held at Memorial South Park, 41st Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia. Expected to draw over 20,000 Filipino-Canadians, the audience can expect a sizzling performance from Solenn, who hosts the lifestyle show Taste Buddies on GMA Life TV and is one of the hottest stars in the country today.
With the second Sunday of August officially proclaimed as Filipino Fiesta day in the City of Vancouver, the event’s highlights also include a cultural parade showcasing some of the famous Philippine festivals from the different regions, such as Ati-Atihan, Sinulog, Masskara, Santacruzan, and the like.
