According to Vice Ganda, the idea for the movie actually came from Martin, who was recently seen in the box office hit “Feng Shui.”

In-approve right there and then at ni-request ko na ‘yan ang una kong pelikula sa 2015 at pumyag naman sila,” narrated the star of “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” the highest-earning entry to the recently concluded Metro Manila Film Festival.

Martin described the movie as a “spoof” on their real-life friendship.

As early as now, Vice Ganda is optimistic that their movie will become another  box office hit.

The still-untitled movie is slated for nationwide release in mid-2015.
